Maya April Moore is a female American basketball player with the women’s National Basketball Association’s Minnesota Lynx (WNBA), who was on sabbatical. In 2009 and 2010, she played for the women’s basketball team at UConn and won the National Championships again. Moore was Air Jordan’s first female basketball player. She has won four WNBA, two olympic gold medals, and three MVP WNBA Championships. In 2017, Moore was named as the Inaugural Performer of the year by Sports Illustrated. Since 2019, she has been focused on the overhaul of the American justice system from her career in WNBA.
